Missouri was the eight of nine children born to Aubrey Himaz and Saleta Ann (Talley.She married David Sylvester Beck in 1906 and they were the parents of three children: Ada Eugenia, Harold D., and Pauline.

Services Aug. 16
For Mrs. Beck

Mrs. Missouri Ann Beck, 85, passed away at 8 a.m., Sunday, August 14, in the De Leon Hospital.
Funeral services were held August 16 at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with Payne Hattox, officiating, assisted by Rev. H. E. Newton.
Music was by a quartet - Homer Hafford, Al Strasner, Pearl Spruill and C. L. Mohon, Jr., accompanied by Mrs. C. L. Mohon, Sr., and a solo by C. L. Mohon, Jr.
Pallbearers were Hollis Dewitt, Gerald Matthews, Tom Beene, Odis Matthews, Elmer Botts and Aubrey Beene.
Interment was in the De Leon Cemetery with arrangements by Higginbotham Funeral Home.
Mrs. Beck was born November 27, 1883, in Comanche County, to A. H. (Hiram) and Salita Ann (Tally) Beene. She was married July 23, 1906, to D. S. Beck, who preceded her in death December 9, 1948.
Survivors are on son, Harold, of Abilene; two daughters, Mrs. A. W. Anderson of Copperas Cove and Mrs. Pauline Morgan of De Leon; one sister, Mrs. Ada Matthews of Comanche; also by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
