Horace Junior Creamer, 80, a resident of Dothan, AL, passed away on January 2, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service at Sunset Memorial Park.

Mr. Creamer was born on May 22, 1928 in the Newton area of Dale County and lived there for the early part of his life. Mr. Creamer was employed with Burlington Mills, Hedstrom, and Coca-Cola prior to his retirement in 1996. He was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church in Dothan and enjoyed working in the yard in his spare time.

Mr. Creamer was preceded in death by his parents Bascom Creamer and Leona Skipper Creamer, a son, Gregory Horace Creamer, a grandson, Daniel Gregory Creamer, a sister, Louverlia Bauldree, and a brother, Billy Creamer.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years Norma Andrews Creamer of Dothan; a son Malcolm Keith Creamer of Dothan; a daughter Gail Tew and her husband Mike of Dothan; grandsons, Christopher Tew, Chase Tew, Carson Tew; a sister Loretta Treadaway and her husband Bernice; several nieces and nephews.
