Born in Fort Hood, Texas, Nancy was a cosmetologist and a member of the High Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy (Lindsay) Pryor), and her son, Andrew C. Schmitt. Survivors included her husband, Andy Schmitt; a son, Jason Schmitt of Springfield; and a daughter, Shelly Messina of Strafford; a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Messina; two sisters, Mary Jane Pryor and Patricia Kates, both of Springfield; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and many dear friends. Graveside services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Hazelwood Cemetery with Pastor Ralph Noble officiating under the direction of Klingner Mortuary.
