Mr. Padilla was born Oct. 25, 1919, in Pintada, N.M. He was a retired factory employee of Herschede Clock Co. and served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Padilla attended Ackerman Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Paul Padilla and wife, Vicki, of Pascagoula; two daughters, Caroline Bray of Grenada and Christine Murphy and husband, Richard, of Ackerman; six grandchildren, Robby Stovall, Christ Stovall; Josh Murphy, Ali Padilla, Seve Padilla and Lindsay Pinson; and a great-granddaughter, Lauren Stovall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
Services were March 30 at Ackerman Baptist Church with burial in Enon Cemetery. The Rev. Danny Irvin officiated.
