Charles was a handsome young man. The family says that he just walked out the door one day and was never heard from again. I find him in the Chicago, Illinois 1900 census as a bookkeeper in Oak Park, Illinois. The family lived in Oak Park for years.

Charles Bray left home one day and never returned. Family legend says it was a mystery and they never heard from him again. I've seen photos of him as a dapper good looking young rake.

Charles' brother Albert died September 28, 1928. Charles was mentioned in the death notice as residing in Chicago, Illinois in 1928. He is also mentioned in his sister, Ella Maude Bray-Clark's obituary and that was January of 1935.
