James graduated from Burlington High School in 1977. He married Susan Desroches on June 13 1981. He was employed at Lane Press for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Susan Akey of Georgia, VT and 3 sons, Justin, Christopher and Scott Akey of Georgia. Jim was an avid fan of the New York Giants and had a great love for the outdoors. He will be remembered for his quick smile and will be greatly missed by many.
