Phyllis Bigler Thygerson, 86, passed away August 25, 1994 in Salt Lake City.

Born January 16, 1908 to James and Maude Ermina Witbeck Bigler. Married David Owen Thygerson, November 20, 1929 in the Manti Temple. Active member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions. Active in Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.Survived by three daughters and three sons, Jeanne (Frank) Brown, and Joyce (DeLoy) Dawson, all Salt Lake; Janice Beckstrom, West Jordan; Phil (Sherry) Thygerson, Salt Lake City; Robert Thygerson, Salt Lake City; Richard (Barbara) Thygerson, Salt Lake City; 30 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, brothers, sisters, granddaughter, Debbie Dawson, and grandson, Kevin Thygerson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 29, 1994, 11 a.m. at Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Drive, where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.

Funeral Directors: Cottonwood Mortuary.
