Charles T. Montgomery, age 81, a life-long resident of Richland county, died Saturday afternoon at his home in Noble. He was the owner of some very productive oil land in Noble township.
Mr. Montgomery was born in Decker township on November 29, 1864, and resided in Decker township for many years. He moved to Noble 38 years ago. Mrs. Montgomery preceded him in death on July 28, 1944.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ed Bourne of Denver, CO, and one son, Loy Montgomery, of Olney. Also surviving are three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Schaub Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Angus Jeffers in charge. Entombment was in the family mausoleum in Green Hill cemetery.
