Jeremy Carpenter, 21, of Fort Wayne died Friday.
The Fort Wayne native had completed his sophomore year at Indiana University in Bloomington, was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and working this summer at Sandpoint Greenhouse Inc.
Surviving are his mother, Darlene Graves of Fort Wayne; father, John Carpenter of Fort Wayne; sister, Jennifer Carpenter of Fort Wayne; grandparents Lona Carpenter and Marie and Charles Graves, all of Fort Wayne; and great-grandparents, Helen McLaughlin of Ossian and Marion Ebey of Fort Wayne.
Services are 11 a.m. tomorrow in St. Paul Lutheran Church, with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Calling is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, and 10 to 11 a.m. tomorrow in the church.
Preferred memorials are gifts to Concordia High School building fund.
