TAYLOR COUNTY KENTUCKY OBITUARY – 1997
Bonnie E. Knifley, 84, of Casey Creek, KY, died Monday, June 23, 1997 at Medco Nursing Home in Campbellsville after an illness. She was the daughter of the late Leslie Blair and Nannie Tedder Blair of Adair County and was a homemaker. She was married to Charlie Knifley, who preceded her in death on October 20, 1978. Knifley is survived by 2 sons, the Rev. James Knifley of Casey Creek and Billy Joe Knifley of Adair County; 3 daughters, Gennette Belton and Betty Lou Clements, both of Indiana and Judy Sanders of Florida; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Montie Blair of Campbellsville and Bill Blair of Indiana; and 1 sister, Pearl Flinchum of Campbellsville. She was also preceded in death by: 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral was at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 25, at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial in Dunbar Hill Cemetery. The Rev. George Hancock officiated. Pallbearers were Jeff Belton, Dale Sanders, James Sanders, Jeff Munday, Billy Ray Knifley and Terry Knifley. Honorary pallbearers were Rodney Knifley, Kim Sanders, Marsha Wethington and Teresa Roberts.
