Iva Isabelle Terry Mom (Iva Isabelle (Belt) (Boone) Terry), was born June 22, 1918, in Crittenden County, Kentucky and died at the age of 90, on September 3, 2008, at Crittenden County Health and Rehabilitation Center, Marion, Kentucky. She married her first husband, James Willard Boone in Marion, KY, where they raised three children. After his death she re-married and moved to Evansville, Indiana where she resided until August 2008.
She is survived in death by her son, Gary W. Boone, his wife, Martha (Whitney) and their children, Bryan Boone and Kelley (Boone) Harrod, her husband, Jason Harrod and their children, Drew and Lauren Harrod. By her daughter, Sandra (Boone) Spurrier, her husband, Donald Spurrier, and their children, Donnie Spurrier and Kay (Spurrier) Marvel, her husband Rick Marvel, and their children, Isaac and Lindsay Marvel. Her beloved son, Roger Franklin Boone preceded her in death and went ahead to Heaven, leaving his wife, Linda (Howton) Boone and their children, Alan Boone, Lee Boone, Jared Boone and his wife, Bridget (Tinsley) Boone. She is also survived by her brother, James Belt, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Oscar Belt and mother, Ora May (Rushing) Belt, her first husband, James Willard Boone and her second husband, Charles William Terry, her brothers, William (Bennie) Belt, Glendal Belt, Paul Belt, Earl Belt, her sisters, Margie (Belt) Woodall, Ruby (Belt) Woodall, Lala (Belt) Reynolds, and Mildred (Belt) Terry.
Mom will be sorely missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She found joy in her family and her many friends. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Evansville, Indiana until her death. She blessed many lives during her time on earth. She was a wonderful person and a true and faithful Christian. She loved to take care of her family and found joy in getting together with her family and friends. She loved looking at her flowers and watching the birds that visited her garden each day.
Funeral services will be held at Myers Funeral Home, Marion, Kentucky at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008. Brother Jason Oliver of Shady Grove Baptist Church, Shady Grove, Ky. will be officiating, and she will be buried in Mapleview Cemetery.
Friends and family may call the day of the funeral from 10 a.m. until funeral time.
