Ethel M. Brown, 92, Marseilles, died Monday evening, June 1 at the LaSalle County Nursing Home.
Mrs. Brown was born December 16, 1899 in Northumberland, England to Enoch and Sarah (Williams) Lettsome. She married Jack Wise of Marseilles in 1916. He died in 1936. She later married Clayton Brown of Moline. He died in 1954. She was a member of the Marseilles Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by three sons, Thurman and Gerald Wise, both of Marseilles, and Norbert Wise of Ottawa; a daughter, Doris Foster of Ottawa and a sister Gladys J. Repke of Ottawa. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn, 2 grandchildren, five brothers and two sisters.
