Virgil M. Fruth, 92, of Noble, died at 1:12 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2008, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, Ind.
Mr. Fruth was born on March 19, 1915, in Meigs County, Ohio, the son of Charles W. and Verda (Price) Fruth. He married Madaline (Brown) Fruth on December 15, 1934, in Mt. Vernon. She preceded him in death on May 8, 1989. He married Palmer W. "Pam" Fildes, on September 15, 1991. She preceded him in death on January 13, 1995.
He was a retired accountant, farmer and carpenter.
Mr. Fruth is survived by his son, Virgil Paul Fruth; sister, Irma Means; stepdaughter, Kay Etzkorn; grandchildren, Charles Fruth, of Littleton, Colo., Carson Fruth, Tammy Fruth, Teresa Taylor, and Virgil Paul Fruth Jr.; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Ryan, Aaron Taylor, Virgil Paul III, Joshua Lee, Sarah Madaline and Taylor Alissa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline; wife, Pam; parents; son, Charles Joseph; twin sons, Harrold and Darrold; brother, Raymond; and sisters, Alice and Ima.
Visitation was held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Noble. Services also at the funeral home with Pastor Dale Barnhurst officiating.
Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery in rural Noble.
