John V. Ireland Died Saturday In Warner Hospital

John V. Ireland, 77, rural Clinton, died at 9:55 p. m. Saturday in John Warner Hospital.
He was born October 7, 1883 in Campbell, Mo., and was twice married. His first marriage was to Flossie Pflaum in 1907 who died in 1952. In 1953 he married Mrs. Lillie Bell of Clinton who survives with three daughters, Mrs. Goldie Shepherd, Clinton; Mrs. Vivian Goddard, Finley Park; Mrs. Alberta Hanbell, East Peoria; one son, Carl, Mt. Pulaski; a step-son, Reed Bell, Clinton and step-daughter, Mrs. Velma Wheadon; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
He also leaves two brothers, Harley, Lawrenceville; James, Lincoln; sisters, Mrs. Myrtle McDade, Dundee; Mrs. Lellah Hassler, Noble; Mrs. Pearl Jordan, Olney. He was preceded by one son, three sisters, and one brother.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church where funeral services were held this afternoon in charge of Rev. C. R. DePrenger. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in charge of Pullen & Boos.
