Perida Dayton Beaver, 95, of Campground Road, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, at her home.
A native of Yancey County, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church and attended the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Beaver of the home; three sons, Clarence Beaver of Bostic, J.B. Beaver and Henry McGinnis both of Hollis; two daughters, Mamie Beaver of the home and Mary Hubbard of Hollis; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral:Big Springs Baptist Church, with the Revs. Lawton Neely, Phil Bailey and Everett Priddy officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
