Ebon W. Thrasher, 79, a retired Wabash Railroad employe, died Saturday at 12:30 p.m. of a heart attack inthe home of a nephew, King Delaney, 1791 East Hopkins St., to whose home he had been brought by car on Friday from Danville, Ill., to make his home.
Mr. Thrasher, a natived of Oakwood, had been living in Danville for 10 years prior to coming here. He had retired in 1954.
He leaves a brother, Ney Thrasher, Oakwood, and a sister, Mrs. E. W. Delaney, Defiance. His wife, Emma died in 1949, and a brother, Harold, in 1940.
He was born on March 1, 1881, a son of Wesley and Martha (Carnahan) Thrasher.
Friends may call in the Morris-Stick Mortuary where services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Samuel _____, FIrst Baptist Minister. The burial will be in Sherman cemetery near Oakwood.
