Mr Humphrey was born September 17th, 1939 in Montrose, Colo. to Joe and Anna "Fern" Humphrey. Dale graduated from Montrose High School and later met and married Katherine "Marie" Esser in a small ceremony in Craig, Colo. They shared 47 wonderful years together and raised five children. Dale worked construction and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He took pride in the fact that he had a role in the construction of the Ridgway and Crystal Dams. After these projects were completed, Dale worked in the Montrose area as a carpenter. In his free time, Dale enjoyed gardening, raising pigeons, carpentry projects and teaching his grandchildren to fish. Dale was a loving and patient father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Mr Humphrey is survived by his Loving wife, Marie; Daughter, Marvella (Steve) Scharf; Sons, Jay, Ron (Betty) and Dennis Atchley; grandchildren, Larissa, Jody, Cortni, Scott, Landon, and Deana; 11 great-grandchildren Karena Atchley; siblings, J.B. Humphrey and Rita Ehr; and many nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Fern; his father, Joe; son, Frank; brother, Marlin; and sisters, Doni, Jane, Norma and Jo. Dale will be greatly missed by his entire family and the many friends whose lives he touched.

A private family internment will be held at a later date at the Olathe Cemetery.
