Sharon Sue Pace, 61, went to be with the Lord early Thursday, December 25th, 2008.
The daughter of Myrtle Mae (Lutz) and James L. Miller, she was born December 30, 1946 in Pamona, California. She lived her early years in California and met the young evangelist, Gordon Pace at a revival in Modesto. She was united in marriage to Gordon A. Pace on June 26, 1966. The young couple began their ministry evangelizing throughout the country and pastored their first church in Clinton, Missouri. They later were called to churches in Memphis, Texas;Exeter, California; Henryetta, Oklahoma and came to Guymon in 1994. Sharon always enjoyed church work and shared her gift of singing to the Lord. In Guymon, Sharon was known as The Patch Lady, working for High Plains Sports for many years and later sewing in her home.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Gordon Pace; her daughter, Shari A. and husband, Rev. Dwight Kight; and two grandchildren, Zachary and Ashlyn Kight, all of Guymon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James L. and Myrtle Miller, and an infant son, Stephen A. Pace.

Funeral services will be Monday afternoon, 2:00 PM, December 29th, 2008 at the First Apostolic Church, 1011 N Crumley, Guymon with Rev. Gordon Pace, Rev. Dwight Kight, and Rev. George Pace officiating. Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery under the direction of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. or send condolences and sign the online guest book at www.hensonnovak.com.
