Services for Morgan Andrew "Andy" Lawrence, 19, of Flint, will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Donnie Barron and Rev. Tom Wagner officiating. Burial will follow in the Flint Cemetery in Flint under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.

Andy went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, in Flint. He was born Feb. 5, 1989, in Athens, Texas.

Andy was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church, where he was a former member of the high school choir and made several mission trips with the church. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and attended Baylor University. Andy played football for the Red Raiders and was part of the team that won the State Championship in 2004. He was a dedicated employee for Cavenders in their warehouse. Andy enjoyed being with his friends and loved his family. Andy touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

Andy is survived by his loving family including his parents, Marty and Jean Lawrence of Flint; sisters, Laura Lawrence of Flint, Alexandra Lawrence of Alabama; brother, James Lawrence of Flint; grandparents, Faye Lawrence, and James and Ann Cummings, all of Flint; and numerous other family members.

Pallbearers will be Colby Lampin, Craig Lampin, Adam Gill, Don Smith, Don Brown and Wade Hallisey.

Honorary pallbearers will be his uncles, Bill Henderson and Doug Lawrence, his brother James Lawrence, and many close friends.

Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, Tyler, 75703.
