Funeral services were held Monday for Howard John Yoder, 67, of Northwood St. Delta who died shortly after arrival at the Fulton County Health Center Friday night. His death was due to natural causes. Born in Fulton County Dec 4, 1920, a son of John and Ella Rupp Yoder, Mr Yoder was a retired auto service station owner and a retired farmer. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving with the 94th Infantry, 356th Field Artillary and received 4 bronze stars. He attended the Christ United Methodist Church of Wauseon. He is survived by his wife, Frances; 2 sons, Jeff of Wauseon and Greg of Columbus; 2 daughters, Mrs. Anita Dusseau(Richard) of Toledo and Mrs. Leta Sullins(Ronald) of Fremont IN; 3 sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Archambeau of Toledo, Mrs. Virginia Strawn of Akron, Mrs. Margaret Zimmerman of Wauseon; and 6 grandchildren. The funeral services were held at the Christ United Methodist Church with the Rev. Branson Hawkes officiating. Burial was in the Aeschliman Cemetery. The family requests that any contributions be to the American Heart Association.
