She was united in marriage to Jeff Ailey on July 13, 1940, in Oxford, AR. She was a relief postal worker at the Wiseman Post Office for several years.
She was a member of the Wiseman Methodist Church.
Survivors include: her daughter, Patsy Wray of Lees Summit, MO; her nephews, Larry Langston of Leavenworth, WA, Randy Langston of Memphis, TN and Gary Langston of New Mexico; and her step-grandson, Darrell Wray of Shawnee Mission, Kan.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; her sister, Dewanda Langston and Goldie Langston; her father and mother; her step-father, Luther Langston, who raised her after her father died when she was only 3.
Funeral services were held Oct. 9 at the Cox-Blevins Chapel in Salem, AR, with burial following in the Wiseman Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home. (Areawide Media)
