Summers, Velma M. (nee Onstott), of Affton, MO, formerly of Cedar Hill, MO, was born January 28, 1921 in Braman, Oklahoma, to Wesley and Florence (nee Lloyd) Onstott and died Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at Delmar Garden South in St. Louis, MO at the age of 84 years 10 months and 16 days.
She is preceded in death by her parents

She is survived by, two (2) children, Suzanne (husband, Richard) Bossi of Affton, Missouri, and Robert L.(wife, Brenda) Summers of St. Peters, Missouri, six (6) grandchildren, Lisa (Mike) Sell, Rick Jr. (Debbie) Bossi, Tracy (Brian) Robinson, Kevin (Debbie) Summers, Amy (Mark) Byers, and Matt Summers, seven (7 ) great-grandchild, Lindsey (Erin) Robinson, Emily Byers, Eric Byers, Jacob Byers, Julia Byers, Robert (Caroline) Summers, and Madilyn Sell, and many other relatives and friends.

Velma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved quilting, playing bingo, camping and traveling. Velma also enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the VFW Lady's Auxiliary, she is fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation Friday, December 16, 2005 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL MORTUARY Cedar Hill Chapel, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Highway 30 West 19 miles from I-270, (636) 274-4100. Service Saturday December 17, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill, MO.
