Mamie Bahr Blake, 89, a retired supervisor, died April 10, 1993, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Blake was born in Damascus, Va. She was retired from C&P Telephone Unit 2 in Norfolk and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and American Legion Post 327. She was the widow of Gilbert D. Blake.
Survivors include two sons, William C. Ramsey and Donald E. Ramsey, both of Portsmouth; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Chaplain Ernie Etheridge. The family will be at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
