MAYS, SAMUEL L., JR. - age 87 of Knoxville, passed away December 28, 2007 at his home. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and retired from the City of Knoxville after 20 years of service. He was also a musician for WNOX. Survived by sister-in-law, Marie Cunningham and husband, Bud and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 pm Friday at Weaver's to proceed to Bell's Campground Cemetery for a 2 pm graveside service. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at Weaver Funeral Home. www.mem.com
