Mike Douglas, beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away suddenly from a heart attack on December 20 at the age of 55.
Born to James and Hope Douglas in 1953, Mike was raised in Hayden and resided in Rathdrum for the last 30 years. He graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School in 1972 and went on to earn certificates from North Idaho College and Idaho State University. Mike worked for Ceda Pine Veneer in Samules, ID for the past 25 years.
Mike will be remembered as a loving and devoted family man who always put the needs of his friends and family first. He loved camping, attending local basketball games, working in his yard and spending time with his family. He was the hardest working man any of us had the honor to know and he will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Douglas.
