Jefferson Williams, 79, of Hwy. 221 N., Gray Court, SC, died December 9, 2008, at Laurens County Hospital in Clinton, SC.
He was a US Army veteran and a member of Poplar Springs AME Church and a retiree of Alsimag (formerly 3M Company).
Surviving are his wife, Doris Wilson Williams of the home; a daughter, Cynthia "Lynn" Stoddard and husband, Michael of Clinton, SC; three brothers, Joshua Williams of Brooklyn, NY, and Walter Williams and Samuel Williams, both of Laurens, SC; three sisters, Dometry Brown of Ft. Washington, MD, Ruby Holmes of Brooklyn, NY, and Sylvia Austin of Laurens, SC.
