Fay A. Grove-Corle, 83, 1008 N. Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg, died Thursday at Altoona Hospital. She was born in Hollidaysburg, to Charles O. & Sarah E. (Irwin) Croft. She was twice married: first to Ronald M. Grove Nov. 29, 1945, in Winchester, VA and he died March 16, 1978. She then married Emil D. Corle Aug. 28, 1993, in Hollidaysburg. Survived by husband; son, Gary Lewis Grove and wife, Arline, of Goose Creek, SC; two daughters: Cathy Ann Fiscus and husband, James, of Pittsburgh and Diane Elizabeth Grove-Ackerman and husband, George, of Kent, OH; a stepdaughter, Elaine Corle of Orlando, FL; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley McLellan of Orlando, FL. She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg. Mrs. Corle was a 1943 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She enjoyed modern western square dancing and camping. Mrs. Corle was a member of Chimrock Squares and Railroaders Camper Dancers. Fay was a loving wife and mother. Friends will be received from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment, Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
