Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Friday, December 14, 2007 at One O'clock. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at STUHR'S WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Thursday from Five until Seven O'clock. Jobatha was born in Charleston, SC, September 11, 1926, the daughter of Samuel Warren Garvin and Caroline Elizabeth Platt Garvin. She was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Andrews. Surviving are 3 daughters, Eomy Rhoden and her husband Bill of Starke, FL, Bobbie Smith of Charleston, SC, and Gail Davis of Charleston, SC; 1 sister, Bessie Sistare of Ravenel, SC; 1 brother, Louie Garvin of Johns Island, SC; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. Jobatha was preceded in death by a son, Preston Mazzell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Care of North Charleston, 2070 Northbrook Blvd., North Charleston, SC 29406.
