Tammy was welcomed into heaven by her infant son, Jimmy, and her parents, Russell Stafford Sr. and Agnes Norrene Stafford.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wilson of Laverne, Okla.; her two daughters, Mandi Laurie, 32, of Austin and Dakotah Wilson, 10, formerly of Laverne, Okla.; her son, Wesley Wilson, 26, of Milwaukee, Wis.; and grandson, Robert Hubbell, 13, of Austin.
Tammy was a vibrant, caring person who touched the hearts of everyone she knew. She volunteered much of her time at Laverne Elementary and was involved in several community activities. Tammy's joy and spirit overflowed into all who surrounded her. Most recently of Laverne, Okla., Tammy lived for several years in Point Comfort before relocating to Oklahoma.
Tammy's physical presence will be dearly missed, but her love and memory will remain in our hearts for eternity.
A memorial service will be held at the United Methodist Church in Laverne, Okla. this week. Date and time will be announced.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at Golden Sunset Cemetery in Victoria.
For those wishing to honor Tammy's life with flowers, she has requested instead that donations be made to Autism research and education nationally or in your own community.
