Old Citizen Dead
The funeral of William Berry, of Freelandville was held Monday afternoon at one o'clock. Interment was held at Indian Prairie cemetery.
Mr. Berry was one of Freelandville's oldest citizens. He was a resident of that vicinity for more than fifty years.
William Berry was born in Jefferson county, Ky. Aug, 18, 1832 and died Sept. 15, 1917 at the age of eighty-five years. He was married Dec 21, 1854 to Judah Robbins. To this union were born several children only two of whom Alex and Edward are now living. Besides his two sons he leaves seven grandchildren, ten greatgrand children and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
