He was the son of William Peeler and Nannie Pearson Peeler. He worked as a groundman for Southeastern Electric for many years, retiring in 1971. He married Sally Salada Caron in 1935 in Lane. He loved his children, fishing and taking care of his cattle. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sons, Lloyd and Harold Peeler; great-grandson, Drew Naranjo; five brothers and four sisters. Services will be Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Lane Baptist Church. Interment will be at Butler Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Tomlinson and Rev Glenn Eaves will officiate.
