He came here in 1955 from his native East Liverpool, Ohio, where he was for many years manager for Hall's China Co., an insurance agent for Western & Southern Life Insurance Co., and a member of the Elks and the Eagles. Locally he was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife Ethel; a son James W. Hood, Orlando, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. C.E. Prevatt Funeral Home, St. Petersburg.
