Enos Jennings was born 27 Feb 1874 in Vernon Co., Wisconsin and died 29 Apr 1956 in Washington, buried in Fairview Cem in Cheney, Spokane, Washington, Section 6 Lot 7. He was the s/o David & Catharine Susan (Philpott) Jennings. Enos was grandson of Enoch & Elizabeth (Woodward) Jennings and Barton & Catharine (Funderburk) Philpott. Enos was brother of; Sarah L., Lydia A., Woodward B., Evelena, Charlotte, Elmer, Louisa and David.

Enos was living in Montana when he registered in WWI. His description was given as; 5'5" tall, blue eyes, brown hair.Enos married Alice Elizabeth McHone, born 8 July 1882 in Wis and died 19 Jul 1946 in Cheney, Spokane, Wa., buried same cemetery. She was the d/o Henry & Bertha (Popp) McHone. Enos and Alice were living in Marion, Marion, Ore in 1910, Benton, Kinoa, WA in 1920 and in Salmon Creek, Lewis, WA when the 1930 census was taken. They were the parents of eight children:
1. Woodward Enos Jennings, born 22 Nov 1903 in Wisconsin, died 21 Jan 1977 in Tacoma, WA.(death cert#001345) His SS card was issued in Colorado before 1951.
2. Ruth Jennings, born 10 Nov 1905 in Wisconsin
3. Sadie Zona Jennings, born 1909 in Oregon, died abt. 1998
4. Mildred Lucille Jennings, born 1911 in Oregon
5. Dorman David Jennings, born 21 Aug 1912 in Oregon, died 21 Jan 1963, buried Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Section P Site 747. He enlisted 3 June 1942, description; 6 ft tall, weight 165 lb.
6. William Henry Jennings, born 1914 in Oregon. Died 25 Apr 1987.
7. Alice Jennings, born 29 May 1915 in Montana and died 12 Apr 1953 in Wenatchee, Chelan, Wa. She married on 10 Aug 1932 Lester Laurence Hardin, born 5 March 1909-6 Jan 1972 Walla, Walla. Two ch:
a. Zona Hardin
b. Lester Verne Hardin
8. Norman Elmer Jennings, born 11 Aug 1923 in Washington, died 21 June 1985, buried Spokane Memorial Gardens in Spokane. Death cert#090203. He enlisted 11 May 1944. Occupation; crew member on Scandinavian ship "North Coast".
