Charles Hanna, who farmed northeast of Table Rock, died on Saturday night, Febr. 24, 1962, at the Humboldt Hospital. He was 77.

He was the son of Frank and Mary Hanna, and was born on April 5, 1884, near Pawnee City. He was married to Blanche Herdlitchka at Falls City, March 11, 1907.

Following their marriage, the couple farmed for six years in Richardson County before moving to a farm northeast of Table Rock, where they have since resided.

Mr. Hanna is survived by his wife; a son, Charles L. Hanna of Gary, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Darlene M. Klaschen, Belleville, Ill.; a brother, Roy Hanna of Pawnee City; two sisters, Mrs. Lewis Hubka, Beatrice and Mrs. Minnie Buman, Pawnee City; besides seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Wherry Chapel in Humboldt, with the Rev. Ward Merritt officiating. Burial was in the Bohemian National Cemetery east of Table Rock.
