OGDEN – Paul Oakley Huggins, 68, died November 19, 2008 at McKay Dee Hospital. He was born June 15, 1940 in Ogden, Utah to John Oakley and Helen Dot Poulsen Huggins. Paul attended Mound Fort and graduated from Ben Lomond High School, he also attended Weber State College.

Paul married Connie Taylor; later divorced. He married Lorna Darlene Caldwell August 2, 1963 in Riverdale, Utah.

He was employed with W.R. White Pipe for 44 years.

He was a member of the LDS Church

Paul enjoyed farming, tractors, hunting and fishing, model airplanes, reading history books and his family.

He is survived by his wife Lorna; children Kam and Ed Sjostrom, Chad and Kristine Huggins, Eric Huggins, Christa Huggins; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Helen Huggins; brother Jerry Huggins and sister Carol Behrens.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of McKay Dee Hospital and friends and family who have helped us during this time.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 24, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park. Friends may call on Sunday, November 23rd from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Bvld., Ogden and Monday at Myers from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Primary Children's Hospital or Disabled American Veterans.
