Funeral services for Wilson John Hunter, 90, of Gore, OK will be held at 10:00 AM Monday December 29, 2008 at the Millsap Funeral Chapel in Webbers Falls with Reverend Wendell Cox officiating. Burial will be in Vaught Cemetery under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Webbers Falls, OK.

Mr. Hunter was born September 12, 1918 at Webbers Falls, the son of Sim and Frances Elizabeth (Miller) Hunter and died Tuesday, December 23, at Gore.

Mr. Hunter attended Yellow Hammer School near Braggs and he married Ida Ardela Morse February 13, 1944 at Webbers Falls and worked for Griffin Grocery Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers, Henry, Murphy and Leslie, five sisters, Mae, Opal, Daisy, Grace and Darkest, step-children, Iva Mullins, L.D. "Bill" Moore and Ray Moore.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Jesse Mae Bell of Muskogee and Wilma Buck of Yuba City, CA, step-son-in-law, George Mullins of Webbers Falls and numerous step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
