Ida Elizabeth Littell, 90, of Northwest Indiana passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2008.
Ida was born on Oct. 25, 1918, the daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy Bach. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Ida is survived by her children, Ida Mae Maupin of Valparaiso, Ind., Prentice Wayne (Mary) Littell of Star City, Ind., Larry (Diane) Littell of Lake Station, Ind., Terry (Barb) Littell of Westville, Ind., Barbara Littell of Oxford, Ala., and Brenda (Nati) Herrera of Lake Station, Ind.; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Prentice Gordon Littell; son, Roy Dale Littell; granddaughter, Tanya C. Reagor; son-in-law, Lindell Maupin; two brothers; and one sister.
There will also be a visitation at Sloan Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008 110 State St., Galatia. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at Pleasant Valley Church. Burial will take place at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Thompsonville.
