Jessie Ott Carter
Jessie Ott Carter, age 98 of Floy Dyer Manor, died Tuesday, May 17 at Houston Community Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 18 at Houston Funeral Home. Burial was in Asbury Cemetery with Rev. James Moore officiating.
The son of the late Jessie Carter he was a retired farmer and a former resident of Van Vleet where he was a member of Van Vleet Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nellie Bee Smith Carter of Floy Dyer Manor; two sons, V O Carter of Fairview Heights, Illinois and Ben Carter of Buffalo, Missouri; one sister, Mrs. Edyth Smith of Houston; one grandchild and four great grandchildren.
Houston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
