SUSAN H. MATHEWS Susan H. Mathews, 88, died June 10, 1991, in the Truman Medical Center East Long Term Care Facility, 7900 Lee's Summit Road, where she lived. She was born in Steedman, Mo., and lived in this area for more than 50 years. Mrs. Mathews worked for the Continental Insurance Co. before she retired. Earlier she worked for the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. She was a member of the First Regular Baptist Church. She is survived by nephews and nieces, including Thelma H. Hicks and Ava C. Davis of Kansas City and Viola Littau and Susan M. DeBrot of Independence. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Newcomer's Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the chapel.
