A member of the Smyrna Methodist Church, she was born November 23, 1868 in Londonderry township a daughter of George and Mary Shipley Rankin.
She was married October 19, 1887 to Thomas Chalkley Ferrell who is deceased. Surviving are one daughter Mrs. Alice Goulden of Westchester, a son Walter of Navarre, 10 grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. A daughter Gertrude Meeks is deceased and one grandchild. Services were held Tuesday from Bond Funeral home in Londonderry with Rev. Donald Bable officiating. Burial was in Smyrna cemetery.
