JEFFERSON, La. - Jean Cheryl Chambers, 60, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at Cannon Hospice at Elmwood Medical Center in New Orleans. She was born Aug. 21, 1946, to Henry Chambers and Evelyn Lancaster Chambers. She was preceded in death by her father.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Woodland with the Rev. Wendell Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Woodland. Houston Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her mother, Evelyn Lancaster Chambers of New Orleans; one brother, Richard H. Chambers of New Orleans; one aunt, Miriam Russio of Woodland; many cousins in the Houston-Woodland area.
