Dewey Roby Gartman, 91, of Colorado City died Tuesday, April 4, 1989 at Mitchell County Hospital.
Born May 12, 1897 in San Saba, he was retired from DS&R Construction. He also worked several years for Valley Fair Lodge. He was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Bettye) Ramage of Colorador City and Inez Gartman of Robert Lee; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his wife, Opal of Colorado City.
He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
Grandsons were pallbearers.
