Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at First St. John Full Gospel Baptist Church, 2401 E. Berry St. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 1 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, with the family receiving guests 5:30 to 6:30.
Mrs. Johnnie Mae Spencer was born March 4, 1910, in Tatum to Eula and John March. She grew up in Fort Worth and attended First St. John Baptist Church, where she taught the Beginners Sunday School Class for 68 years.
Her daughter, Lola Banks, preceded her in death.
Survivors: Grandchildren, Luvenia Hamilton (Michael), Willie Lang (Georgie), John Banks (Theray), Travis Banks, Bernard Banks and William Banks (Karen); 22 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandson; cousin, Rose Carter (Ted) of Los Angeles, Calif.; many other family members; and a vast number of friends.
