Christopher Michael Marks, 26, of Vacaville, was taken from us way too soon while driving his beloved '63 Nova. He was born July 14, 1982, in Daly City and was raised in Pacifica.
In 1992, he moved with his family to Vacaville which has been his home ever since.
Chris was a member of the 2000 Vacaville High School graduating class. He went on to earn his Automotive Technology degree from Wyoming Tech. Because of his immense talent he was able to land his first job within a week of graduation. One of his dreams was realized when he opened his shop in Vacaville, "Busted Knuckle Garage."
Chris was an amazing person. After a life changing accident that left him a paraplegic, he continued life to its fullest with no limits. He never felt sorry for himself. He worked and played hard. A great friend, who would give you his last dollar.
No words can express the hole we have in our hearts but Chris' memory will live on in everyone he has touched.
Chris is survived by his father, David Marks of Vacaville; mother, Lissa Marks (Gene Flukey) of Vacaville; sister, Melissa Marks (Tony Mexican) of Vacaville; brother, Shawn Marks of Vacaville; grandparents, Ted Marks of Oregon and Kitty and Lucky Hack of San Bruno; two nephews, Brandon and Nathan; and niece, Mary. He is also survived by a large extended family and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Marks.
