Mass of Christian Burial for Diane Marie Weston will be 10 a.m., Friday, December 26, at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Paul Eichhoff officiating.
Burial with military honors by the U.S. Navy will follow at Washington Cemetery under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, 3-8 pm.
Diane died Monday, December 22, 2008, at her home at the age of 67.
The daughter of Walter Pierce and Gloria (Griffith) Weston was born June 30, 1941, in Miami, Oklahoma. Diane attended school in Miami, and graduated high school in 1960. In June of 1960, she entered the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War. Around 1990, Diane moved to Chelsea. She has been employed with Okie Mart in Foyil for the past 11 years, and was a member of the American Legion. Diane enjoyed riding horses and spending time with her sister.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and niece, Michaela Miller.
Diane is survived by her brother, David Weston and wife, Mary of Tiawah; sister, Claudia Weston of Chelsea; nieces and nephews: Mike Weston of Big Cabin, Renee Harris of Joplin, Missouri, John Weston of Catoosa, Chris Weston of Claremore, and Mark Weston of Tulsa; 5 great-nieces and nephews, and 3 great-great-nieces and nephews.
