Lucille Franklin, 90, of Portland Community Care Center West died early Friday, Feb 11, 2000 at Jay County Hospital.
She was born Aug 8, 1909 to Charles and Anna Betz Bryan. She was married to Perry Franklin, June 15, 1929 and he preceded her in death June 29, 1963. She was a member of the West Walnut Street Church of Christ, the Noble Twp. Home Demonstration Club and Jay County Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include one son, Elwood Thorton of Harrison, Mich.; two granddaughters; and two great granddaughters.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland with Rev. Paul Strouse officiating. Burial is at Salmonia Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home
