Robert E. "Pop" Anding, 80, died Wednesday, December 5, 2001, at Pine Crest Guest Home in Hazlehurst. Graveside services are 3 p.m. today in Hazlehurst Cemetery. Stringer Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Dr. Joe Stovall will be officiating.
Mr. Anding was a native and lifelong resident of Hazlehurst. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hazlehurst. Mr. Anding was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
Survivors include: his wife of 58 years, Mary Nell Watts Anding; four nieces and three nephews.
