Annie Estelle Garrett, 99, of Port Orange peacefully passed
away on December 25,2011. Estelle was born in Barberville,
Florida. She moved to Port Orange and was a resident in this area for 72 years. Estelle was a cafeteria worker for the Volusia County School Board for over 35 years. Estelle loved doing crafts, particlarly quilting. She enjoyed reading. She was a great cook. Estelle will be remembered for being an excellent wife and Mother. Estelle was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Garrett and by 6 children. She is survived by her daughters: Paula Christmas of Titusville, Barbara {Marty} Bennett of Port Orange, and Artie Mae {Floyd} Hewett of Daytona Beach; and her son Paul {Gracie} Garrett of Port Orange; and a brother
N.J. Driggers of Cocoa. She will be sadly missed by her 32 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, 28 Great-great grandchildren, and 5 great-great-great grandchildren.
Family welcomes friends for a Visitation on Friday, December 30th from 11:a.m.- 12:p.m. at Cardwell Funeran Home, Port Orange. Chapel service will begin at 12:p.m. in the Cardwell Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery will follow.
