Charles Catt, oldest son of Robert Catt of Ronald met with a mishap at the feed mill in Palo on Monday morning, which will probably cost him his life.
He was in the mill but a few minutes when his clothing became caught in a belt and he was taken up and drawn three times around a shaft with great violence before the machinery could b stopped. His left arm was torn from its socket, one let was frightfully lacerated, and he received severe internal injuries.
He was taken at once a short distance to the home of the doctor, where he still is. the parents were at once summoned and are now with him to administer much comfort as can be given. The attending physician holds out no hope.
