HANCOCK - Burman Augustus Wills, 75, of Rt 1, died Sunday morning at the Washington County Hospital. Born in Piney Grove, he was the son of Joseph Henry and Mary Alice Wills.

He attended Mays Chapel Christian Church. He retired from the Western Maryland Railway in 1963.

He is survived by his wife. Mrs Ida Belle Barnhart Wills, eight daughters. Mrs. Burhl (Mary) Booth and Mrs Jessie Weicht, both of Amaranth, Pa. Mrs Emory (Charlotte) Golden of Big Pool, Mrs Royce (Beulah) Marvellis of Hagerstown, Mrs. Donald (Phyllis) Appel of Little Orleans, and Mrs. Nathan (Nancy) Martin, Mrs. Melvin (Judy) Powell and Mrs. Marshall (Vesta) Marvellis, all of Hancock; four sons. Marvin A. and Herbert L. Wills, both of Hancock, Ronald W. Wills of Hagerstown and Gary L. Wills of Warfordsburg. Pa.; one brother, Fred P Wills of Keyser. W Va ; and 54 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mays Chapel Christian Church. The Rev. Delmas Bard and the Rev. Ralph Kunkel will officiate. Burial will be in Tonoloway Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home in Hancock Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
